Some Clouds is a curatorial exploration of how alternative ways of exhibiting can provide direct access to experiencing art in open public space. Some Clouds takes the form of a series of one-day installations and performances on a concrete platform attached to the Los Angeles River. Located near the Frogtown neighborhood of Los Angeles, Some Clouds is accessed via the river bike path.

The temporary installations can be experienced from a variety of vantage points – biking or walking on the path, driving over the freeway above, or walking down to the platform at water level. These projects require neither electricity nor any other public utility and are conceived with a commitment to leaving no trace once finished.

Some Clouds installations are one-day happenings programmed by Chloe Ginnegar with Los Angeles-based artists working in a variety of mediums. Past iterations have included painting, sculpture, and performance. Some Clouds held its first series of programs during the summer of 2019.
